Katara watched her brother as he tried to tie the last knot in place, to secure the trap he believed would catch their dinner. Sokka came up with the idea for this trap this morning and was dying to try it out. Katara went with him so she could collect some berries from the side of the cliff.
Katara had filled the basket already and Sokka was only finishing up the first trap. He sat with his legs crossed, his tongue sticking out and he kept scrunching up his face in concentration. Katara couldn’t help but laugh at him.
“Are you nearly done?” Katara asked.
Sokka looked up from his knot to answer his sister. His eyes widened and his mouth dropped open with horror. The rope slipped from his grasp and smacked him in the face.
“Ahhhh” Sokka wailed. “Katara get down!”
Katara ducked and tried to stifle her laugh at Sokka. She kept low and moved beside Sokka, who was rubbing his che

Zuko had been wandering around in this never ending forest for hours. He knew the avatar was around here somewhere but a few hours ago, after the sun had set in a spectacular array of oranges and reds, Zuko finally admitted he was lost.
Without the wild flames he cupped in his palm, he would have nothing to guide him. Not that he knew where he was going, but being able to see around him was comforting and the forest was too thickly covered for the moon to be of any help.
Zuko was feeling weak and tired. He was parched and he felt like the fire he cupped in his hand was sucking all the moisture out of his skin, leaving his lips dry.
He told himself the avatar would have to wait until he could find his way back to the ship. His uncle was probably worried about him. Zuko could picture him sipping a cup of tea help calm himself.
As much as his Uncle drove him up the wall, Zuko had to admit he cared about him. He always looked ou
The Wedding Planner Part 4"Today is Mako's bachelor party." Bolin stated as he sat down on the bed getting ready, "You know what that means."The Wedding Planner Part 4 by RinLista98
Korra was still under the covers. He was implying that Korra would finally have the space she needed, the time she needed to compose herself for the horrific event that would be occurring in three days.
"I know," she muttered, sticking her head out of the cover, furrowing her eyebrows, "but I don't think I can handle being alone." She looked at him as he was getting ready. She could see him humming and being excited about everything that he planned out for them.
"You could come along, you know." Bolin said sounding ecstatic that Korra would be going.
"I wouldn't want to ruin anything, and I think not talking to Mako before the wedding would be the best way to go." Korra said covering her face with the blanket again.
"I have an idea!" Bolin stood up grabbing the blankets and pulling it off of Korra. She curled up like an Armadillo lion.
"What?!" She yelled acting like one

A late spring breeze came in through the open window, sending a slight chill down Korra’s spine. Tired of fidgeting with her hoodie strings, she took a quick glance around the waiting room. The walls were painted beige, similar but not quite the same shade as the walls of her old hospital room, and the carpet was a gray-blue color that went surprisingly nicely with the walls. Mako sat next to her, skimming through a magazine from the rack that sat at the end of the row of chairs, and across the room was a small, plastic table and chairs that were covered in crayon marks, accompanied by a small box of broken crayons and a few of the classic jumbo coloring books. Besides her and Mako, there were only two other people in the room: a woman in a grass-green dress who was waiting for her child’s appointment to be over, and the cranky receptionist who typed away on his computer, the only personal touches to his desk being a framed picture

What is Avatar State?
The most powerful ability that an Avatar can invoke is the Avatar State. This allows an Avatar to channel immense cosmic energies and knowledge of all previous Avatars, enabling them to perform epic acts of bending. Avatars yet to fully realize their power may unconsciously enter such a state in response to perception of mortal danger (a "defense mechanism" as Avatar Roku puts it) or emotional distress. During this state, an incompletely trained Avatar has access to bending techniques they themselves have yet to learn, but has no conscious control and likely causes great collateral damage. Fully realized Avatars have full conscious control over the state, and can enter and exit the state at will. It was by entering the Avatar State that Aang was able to freeze himself and Appa into an iceberg for 100 years, by using a combination of Airbending and Waterbending.
